Reason 1
No more counting down the hours until you can sit
By hour eight, the ache in your feet starts running the shift. Graduated
compression, firmest at the ankle and easing up the leg, is why nurses
tell us the back half of the shift stopped feeling like a countdown.
“ My legs do not feel sore after I run around the ED for 12 hours.”
Maria R. · Emergency department · Verified buyer
Reason 2
They stay up all shift
Every pair is sized by shoe size and calf, from Small up to Large or XL, with wide-calf Medium and Large for fuller calves. That fit is what keeps them up through a 12-hour shift, so you're not stopping mid-round to pull them up.
“First compression sock that I was able to wear for 12 hours as a nurse that stayed up and didn't sink down to my ankles."
Ivey P. · Nurse · Verified buyer
Reason 3
Find the right support for your shift
Compression is measured in mmHg: the higher the number, the firmer the squeeze at the ankle.
Choose the level that matches how your legs feel after long hours.

Reason 4
Less swelling when you clock out
Graduated compression helps reduce the swelling that builds up over a long shift on your feet, so your ankles still look like ankles when the shoes come off.
“I noticed at the end of the day my feet hurt a lot and my ankles were swollen. After wearing these socks once I notice my feet didn't hurt nearly as much and there wasn't any swelling at the end of the day.”

A top band that doesn't dig in, even at hour 12
A soft top band that holds without biting, so there's no ring around your calf when you take them off.

“I am a nurse who works 12 hour shifts. These are so comfy and they do not cut off circulation at the top. Other brands I have found that the band is too tight, but these are perfect and really felt good on all shift.”

Breathable, so your feet aren't hot by hour 10
A breathable knit that doesn't trap heat inside work shoes or under scrubs.
“Surprised at how well these socks made my feet and legs feel after 13 on my feet (hospital setting). I could instantly feel like a cool sensation up and down from my below my knees to toes - so cool!”

Way better than Bombas.

Questions nurses ask us
What are the benefits to air-drying?
Most nurses start with Everyday Support (15–20 mmHg). Choose Firmer Support (20–30 mmHg) if you've worn compression before and want more, or if your provider suggested it. Compare Two
How do I find my size?
Use your shoe size and the measurement around the widest part of your calf. If your calf falls between sizes, go for the wide-calf size.
Will they really stay up for a 12-hour shift?
In the right size, yes. Socks that slide are almost always a calf-size issue, so measure first. If yours don't fit, we'll help you swap.
Are they hard to put on?
Turn the sock inside out down to the heel, slip your foot in, then roll it up your leg a little at a time. They slide on easiest over clean, dry skin.
How long do they last?
With a few pairs in rotation, they hold up for years. One customer told us hers are still going three or four years in: “They still look almost new after many wearings.” (Nancy L. S.) Wash cold to keep the compression strong.
Do you offer any discounts?
Military, first responders including EMS, government employees and teachers can save up to 35% through GovX. Check if you qualify
Can I wear them while pregnant?
Many of our customers wear Comrad through pregnancy. Check with your provider on the level that's right for you. Compression for pregnancy
