Your socks should feel comfortable and firm hug around your legs. In fact, if your legs feel like they are hot or throbbing a bit, that means they're working (and this feeling will go away as your body adjusts). You may see some slight 'pulling' near the ankle-bone (where you can see a bit of skin through the fabric of your socks.) You might see it more with the dark-colored socks, but it shouldn't be noticeable to anyone but you. This is from the softer, terry-loop fabric meshing with the nylon fabric. It's not a defect and won't affect the performance or fit of your socks.

We offer Wide-Calf (WC) sizes for those with larger or more muscular calves. If you're not someone who can pull off a skinny jean or have larger than average calves, you'll want WC. You can also measure your calf using this size chart
