How do I put on my compression socks?
We understand that these are slightly more challenging to put on than your average sock. We recommend making sure your legs are dry before putting them on. Check out this helpful how-to video showing how to put them on the easy way.
How do I know if my compression socks are too tight?
Your socks should feel comfortable and firm hug around your legs. In fact, if your legs feel like they are hot or throbbing a bit, that means they're working (and this feeling will go away as your body adjusts). If you are feeling pain then your compression socks are too tight. We recommend reading this article and our guides to find the right fit. Learn more
Why can I see my skin through my socks at the ankle?
You may see some slight 'pulling' near the ankle-bone (where you can see a bit of skin through the fabric of your socks.) You might see it more with the dark-colored socks, but it shouldn't be noticeable to anyone but you. This is from the softer, terry-loop fabric meshing with the nylon fabric. It's not a defect and won't affect the performance or fit of your socks.
What if my calves are larger than average?
We offer Wide-Calf (WC) sizes for those with larger or more muscular calves. If you're not someone who can pull off a skinny jean or have larger than average calves, you'll want WC. You can also measure your calf using this size chart
Is this a medical product?
Comrad socks are not a medical product. We harness the beneficial properties of compression technology and knitting design but at a level below 25 mmHg, which does not qualify us as a medical product.
