How Do Compression Socks Work?

How do we actually make Comrads? Well, it’s unlike any traditional sock—our graduated compression socks use supportive and strong premium fabrics that are carefully knit using ISO-approved knitting machines (pretty cool, right?).

Compression socks create pressure on your legs by starting at the ankles and gently easing up the calf. By compressing the surface veins, arteries, and muscles, they push circulating blood through narrower channels. As a result of this improved circulation, more blood can return to the heart and less blood pools in the feet.

So essentially, our socks keep your legs energized throughout the day by increasing circulation, curbing swelling, fighting fatigue, and improving recovery after exercise. And like you’ve heard before, they’re especially good for folks who sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.

At the end of the day, Companions are engineered and designed to help you feel better, perform better, and look better than any sock out there!
